Altenew 8th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 1 + Giveaway (over $1,900 in Total Prizes)

Hi! I really hope you have enjoyed this amazing blog hop! Thank you Joylita Dsouza for sending you to me! I have been a HUGE fan of Altenew right from 2014, when the brand was launched. I applied for the very first batch of the Altenew Educator Certification Program. And completed it in March 2018. Through the years my love for Altenew has just grown! And I am very happy and honoured to be a part of their 8th Anniversary Celebration.

I created a very festive card for this momentous occasion.

I started with a piece of cream and gold handmade paper. I ran it through the Flower Bed 3D Embossing Folder which was covered with embossing ink. I poured three shades of metallic gold embossing powders over the paper and then used an old credit card over the top to remove more powder. I did this in all directions, applying a light pressure. After tapping off all the extra embossing powder, I heat set it.

I trimmed the panel and adhered it to a black card base.

To finish I added the sentiment which is from the Fresh Freesia stamp set.
