Addicted To Stamps And More #421 - Make Your Mark...

Hi! Wishing all of you a fantastic 2022! I am back after a break with some inspiration for the Addicted To Stamps And More blog. The theme this time is:

I got a chance to play with some new goodies that I bought during the Black Friday sale. I have always been a big fan of Pinkfresh Studio designs. And their pop out stamps have been on my wish list for a long time. I created a one layer card using the Pop Out: Hexagons stamp set.

I used Memento inks for the stamping. Here is another look at the card.

I hope you liked my card and will create something beautiful for this challenge. You can link your creations to the ATSM gallery. Please don't forget to visit the other DT who have some incredible inspiration for you. I look forward to visiting you in our gallery.

Entering this card in the Pinkfresh Studio January 2022 challenge. My card is inspired by the May 2021 prompt - Anything Goes.

Altenew Educators' “New Favorite” Blog Hop + Linky Party...

Hi! Hope you are enjoying the blog hop. You must have reached here from Nancy Souza's blog.

I completed my Altenew Educator certification in March 2018. It was an amazing journey. Since then I have participated in all the Educator hops. I have also been privileged to be a guest designer for Altenew.

Today's hop is all about our new favorite. I am sharing a few cards I made with the Altenew 3D embossing folders. I am absolutely in love with these folders! If you haven't tried them yet, I strongly urge you to give them a try!

Card #1:

I ran a piece of black card stock through the Beautiful Baroque 3D embossing folder and then swiped it with distress oxide ink. After drying the panel, I gently swiped a pad of gold pigment ink over the raised areas. The sentiment is from the Fresh Freesia stamp set.

Here is another look at the card.

Card #2:

This is my favorite card today. I swiped different colors of Altenew mini ink pads on the Deck Plank 3D embossing folder before running it through the die cutting machine. I kept doing this till I was happy with the background. Here is a closer look at the embossing.

I stamped and die cut the flowers and leaves with the Garden Rose stamp & die set. I arranged the die cuts and then adhered them with liquid glue and Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape. The sentiment is from the Fresh Freesia stamp set. Here is a closer look at the card.

Card #3:

I rarely use pattern papers in my cards. Something that I want to change in 2022! I used a sheet from the Wildflower Collection 6 x 6 paper for this card. Here is the sheet I used.

I ran it through the Botanical 3D embossing folder covered with embossing ink. I then heat embossed with black embossing powder.

The sentiment is from the Fresh Freesia stamp set. Here is another look at the card.

Card #4:

I started by sprinkling red and green pigment powders in the embossing folder. I sprayed the folder with water and then ran it through the die cutting machine. Once the paper was dry, I applied embossing ink to the raised areas of the folder and ran it again through the die cutting machine. I used a holographic embossing powder. After heat embossing I gently applied brown distress ink to make the pattern pop.

The sentiment is from the Birthday Greetings stamp set. Here is another look at the card.

I hope you liked my cards and will give these gorgeous folders a try. You can always visit the Altenew Blog for tons of inspiration and videos on using the 3D embossing folder.

Hi! I am so happy and excited o start 2022 with a brand new Design Team! I am beyond thrilled to join the HLS Watercolor Challenge team. Thank you Kylie Purtell for giving me this opportunity!

I created a simple card using my latest obsession, the Altenew 3D Embossing Folders.

I used the Garden Roses folder by Altenew. You can check out a great video on this technique by my talented friend Ishani right here

I used Mont Marte watercolor cakes to create the ombre background. After drying the panel, I ran it through the embossing folder. And used the Snowflake Tinsel embossing powder by Ranger. The sentiment is by Technique Tuesday.

Here is another look at the card.
