Hi! I hope you are enjoying this fantastic blog hop. You should have arrived here from the blog of Reiko Tsuchida.
Enjoy floral florescence with stunning flowering blooms. Stamp the two elaborate clusters of poppies, chrysanthemums, and daisies to bring floral beauty to your projects. They are perfect to fill card backgrounds or frame your scrapbook layouts. Color the floral intricacies with watercolor or brush markers for a vibrant touch. Finally, stamp any of the uplifting sentiments or quotes to brighten a loved one's day. Enjoy our Craft Your Life Project Kit, an exciting monthly package that is sure to get the creative juices flowing! Featuring a 6x8 stamp set, coordinating die set, as well as a stencil set and embossing folder to fit the theme, this project kit has almost everything you need to start crafting. Just add ink and cardstock, and you'll be good to go!
I created a monochromatic card with the kit. The images in the CYL Florescence are fun to color. They are also quite intricate and create interesting outlines.
I used the Glacier Caves Pigment Ink Bundle for the inking. To begin, I masked off the card base with ¼" wide washi tapes and inked from light to dark colors. Once the inking was done, I used my heat gun to dry the panel thoroughly.
I stamped the floral clusters on both sides and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I also stamped the clusters on a smaller white panel with Persian Blue ink such that they aligned with the base.
The sentiment is from the CYL Seasonal Blooms. This kit has sentiment dies along with their shadow dies. To finish the card, I popped up the panel on the card front with foam tape.
