Second ATC...

Hi! I finally made my first ATC today, inspired by the new ATC challenge launched by Kylie Putrell, owner of Happy Little Stampers. After I finished die cutting my inked panel for the first ATC I was left with a lovely frame that I simply couldn't bear to discard. So my second ATC was born!

I blended pink, orange and yellow Artistry distress inks on a piece of white  card paper. Added some water droplets and once the paper was dry I stamped a Kaisercraft stamp with Versamark and heat embossed with the silver EP by Itsy Bitsy. I die cut the rectangular die which went to make my first ATC. I die cut another rectangle with black card stock and inlaid it into the inked frame.

I used the Bon Voyage stamp set by Craftyscrappers for the rocket which I stamped on the scrap paper that I used while ink blending. There was a lovely mix of colors left and I had to use it! I stamped the sentiment on white card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and matted it with the scrap paper. I also dabbed some of the foiling glue randomly and foiled with the silver foil.

I am really happy to have two ATCs out of this.

First Attempt at ATC...

Hi! I have always been fascinated by ATCs. These little works of art are so beautiful and varied! Few months ago Kylie Putrell, owner of Happy Little Stampers launched a new ATC challenge. I was immediately intrigued and wanted to enter. But kept postponing it. I decided that I will make an ATC this month come what may! So I finally took the plunge. And here is my first ATC.

I started with a piece of black card stock and used the Strips n Stripes stamp set, silver foil and Fun Foil Glue - all from Craftyscrappers for a fun background. I blended pink, orange and yellow Artistry distress inks on a piece of white  card paper. Added some water droplets and once the paper was dry I stamped with a Kaisercraft stamp with Versamark and heat embossed with the silver EP by Itsy Bitsy. I recently picked it up from the Itsy Bitsy store and I love it!

I used the Bon Voyage stamp set by Craftyscrappers for the balloon and sentiments which I stamped on white card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I enjoyed the whole process and look forward to creating more ATCs.

Addicted To Stamps And More #265...

Hi! We have a beautiful challenge up at the Addicted To Stamps and More blog this week.

There are so many ways in which you can interpret this lovely photo. I decided to concentrate on the pink and black combo.

I found a piece of watercolor paper on which I had tried a galaxy background in pinks and purples. I trimmed it to size and adhered it to a black card base. I  cut another black panel to size and then used the Text Block: Birthday die by Papertrey Ink to cut it. I love this die since it is large enough to cover the front of the card.

I decided to make it into a shaker card. I popped up the panel with double sided tape and added a few sequins from my stash. Here is a closer look at the panel.

I love this quick and simple shaker card and hope you like it too! Please do check out the fabulous creations by my fellow DT at the Addicted To Stamps And More blog for more inspiration. And don't forget to link your cards to our gallery.

Make My Monady Challenge #57...

Hi! The new challenge is up at the Make My Monday blog. The theme this time around is Halloween - I Put A Spell On You. For people who don't normally send Halloween cards, like me, you can make a Thank You card instead.

A friend recently asked me to make some thank you cards that he can give out to his clients. He needs around 100 cards so they have to be simple. Here are the options that I came out with using his company colours.

I used the Dodec Star die by Altenew to cut out the medallions from red, blue and cream paper and simply inlaid the designs. The sentiment is from the Wonderful Words stamp set by CAS-ual Fridays. I stamped it with Versamark and then heat embossed with matching EPs.

This is a very easy design to mass produce or change up. I hope you like my card and are inspired to create something pretty. You can get more fabulous inspiration from my fellow DTs and also link up your creations at our gallery here

Addicted To Stamps And More #263...

Hi! The current ATSM challenge is up and this week's theme is

I am in the middle of finishing my cards for Diwali. So this is a great theme for me. I have made several cards for Diwali already. This design is one of my favorites

I used the same method to create multiple panels. I started with a large piece of watercolor paper. I dropped 2 different shades of Camlin Photo inks on my craft sheet, sprayed some water and dragged my paper through it. Once it was a bit dry and splattered some water droplets and dabbed them away for a distressed look. Once the panel was completely dry I stamped the medallions from the Dazzlers stamp set by Penny Black and Stitches stamp set by Bo Bunny randomly with Versamark and heat embossed with silver, gold, copper and platinum EPs. I die cut the paper into rectangles with the DCAM Stitched Rectangles die.

Rest of the card was easy. I simply matted the panel with black and mounted it on kraft card base. The sentiment is from the an old Diwali stamp set by Mudra Craft Stamps that I really love.

I hope you like my cards and are inspired to create something beautiful. Please do check out the fabulous inspiration by my fellow DT at the ATSM blog here. And don't forget to link up your holiday creations. We love to see you in our gallery!
