Hi! I hope you are enjoying the blog hop. You must have reached here from the blog of Linda Westfall. She is an amazing crafter and never fails to inspire me!
I fell in love with the beautiful Wildflower collection at first glance! My card today was created using the Wildflower 6 x 6 paper pack, Pink Posy Ephemera, and Bitty Bits Ephemera.
One of the fun techniques I like to do with pattern paper is to stamp on it. This works really well with the quieter designs. When I went through the Wildflower pattern paper pack, I found it had a great mix of designs ranging from very bold to very quiet. I selected two papers for my stamping and used the Beautiful Day stamp set along with Rose Petal and Red Cosmos mini ink cube sets. Here is a close-up of the stamping.
I omitted the base layer for both the flowers as I wanted the pattern paper to show through.
To assemble the card, I took a speckled card base and adhered a strip of pattern paper to the left side. I also lightly inked the white portions with some pink ink. I arranged the flowers along with the elements from the Pink Posy Ephemera and Bitty Bits Ephemera and adhered them down.
The sentiment is from the Fresh Freesia stamp set, stamped with black ink. Here is another look at the card.
Here are all the products I used from the new release.
