Hi! The Make My Monday challenge is back after a break. We are all fresh after our break and raring to go. The theme for this challenge is 'A Winter's Walk'.
I went for a very monochromatic card, inspired by the current Fusion Challenge.
I started with a piece of watercolor paper that I had colored with some grey Camlin Photo ink with the smooshing technique. I flicked some silver acrylic paint on it. I trimmed the panel and mounted it on the grey card base with foam tape. The snowflakes dies are by Nagashri Arts and I am totally in love with them! I cut them out of white card stock. The sentiment is from a stamp set by Some Odd Girl. I stamped it with Versamark ink on a scrap of red paper and then heat embossed with Ranger's Silver EP. I added a strip of glittery silver paper under the sentiment for some emphasis.
I hope you like my card and are inspired to create something beautiful. Please also visit the teamies at the Make My Monday Challenge blog for some fabulous inspiration!
Entering my card in the following challenges:
Fusion Card Challenge:
I used both the sketch and the graphic. I added the sentiment the red paper inspired by the teapot and mugs in the graphic.
Less is More #310 - Ombre
Timeout Challenges #74 - Winter
CAS Mix Up January Challenge
I used Camlin photo inks for the grey background with the smooshing technique. The sentiment is stamped and I added die cuts.
