Shaker Card...

Hi! I am here today with my entry for the October 2021 Inspiration Challenge by Altenew.

I created a see-through shaker card.

I used the products from the Garden Rose Craft Your Life kit to create this card. The background was made using distress oxide inks along with one of the stencils from the kit.

The sentiment is from the Watercolor Extravaganza stamp set. The leaves were die-cut using the Craft-a-flower Buttercup Layering set.

Here is another look at the card.

Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes With Dies Challenge - October 2021...

Hi! Welcome to another month of inspiration for the Happy Little Stampers Challenge

Diwali, the festival of lights is in the first week of November. It is one of the biggest festivals in India and celebrated with much fanfare across the country. I usually mass produce my Diwali cards. So I am always looking for quick designs.

I used the Resplendent Rectangles die by Spellbinders and distress oxide inks in shades of red and pink to create this card. The sentiment is from a very old stamp set by Mudra Craft Stamps. In fact it was released before Varshitha Nagarajan launched her brand!

I used a cream and gold handmade paper for the base and the panels. Here is a close-up of the inked panels.

I hope my card inspires you to create something beautiful. You can visit the Happy Little Stampers challenge blog for more inspiration and link your creations to our gallery.

Happy Little Stampers Stencil Challenge - October 2021...

Hi! I am here with the inspiration for the October challenge of the Happy Little Stampers Stencil challenge.

I decided to try a technique by Laura Bassen using a new CrafTreat stencil called Peony Blossom. Click here to go to the original post which also has a very informative video tutorial.

I used some white embossing powder for the sentiment. The stamp is a very old one that I found white reorganizing my stash recently.

I hope my card inspires you to create something beautiful. You can visit the Happy Little Stampers challenge blog for more inspiration and link your creations. I look forward to visiting you in our gallery.

Altenew Educators "Alphabet Name Game" Blog Hop and Linky Party + Giveaway

Hi! Welcome to brand new Altenew Educators' blog hop! I hope you are enjoying the amazing inspiration along the way! You should have arrived here from Nancy Souza. She is such an amazing crafter!

For this hop we were asked to use the first letter of our name, pick a theme or technique... and CREATE! Do you know some techniques that start with 'N'? Please let me know in the comments below!

Here is the card I made using Negative Die Cutting.

This is a great way to stretch your dies. I started with three pieces of cardstock and distress oxide inks. I smooshed the ink on the panels and dried them completely.

I die-cut the panels using the Succulent Layering dies. I also distressed the edges of the negative space using Black Soot distress oxide ink.

The sentiment is from the PAF Lotus stamp set.

I stamped it Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I hope my card gives you some new ideas on using your Altenew supplies. And please do mention some techniques that start with 'N' in the comments below.
