Hi! I am so happy to be back after a break! I do hope you missed the HLS challenges. I am here today with some great inspiration.
My card today is a quick one, made with some pretty pattern paper and alphabet dies.
I started with a black card base and added a piece of pattern paper cut slightly smaller. Before I adhered the paper to the card base, I die cut the word 'HUGS' out of it. I also cut out the letters from some black fun foam. I adhered the pattern paper die-cuts to the fun foam letters and popped the pieces back into place. Here is a closer look at the sentiment.
Fun foam adds dimension to the die-cuts easily. If you don't have any foam on hand, you can stack 5-6 die-cuts together. Here is another view of the sentiment.
And another look at the completed card.
I hope my cards inspire you to create something beautiful. You can visit the Happy Little Stampers challenge blog for more inspiration and link your creations. I look forward to visiting you in our gallery.

Hi! I am so excited to be part of a brand new challenge in blog land! Presenting the latest challenge from Happy Little Stampers
I have always loved working with stencils. They are one of the most versatile and cheap tools to have in your crafty stash. And you can use them for an amazing array of techniques and mediums.
I used my stencil to create a very artsy background. This technique actually creates two backgrounds. So it is a great twofer technique to have in your arsenal.
I used the Layered Hydrangea stencil by CrafTreat and Brushos to create the background. You can check out my video on this technique here.
Here is a closeup of the card.
The sentiment is from the Leaf Canopy stamp set by Altenew.
I do hope you will join us in this great new challenge. Looking forward to your beautiful creations in our gallery.

STAMPlorations Stencil Challenge - January:
Hi! Welcome to another great challenge at the Rainbow Card Challenges. The mood board this month is gorgeous!
I created a one layer card with lots of masking. This card is completely inspired by the gorgeous monochromatic card by Erum Tasneem who blogs at VIBGYOR Krafts. You can find her original card here. There is also a detailed process video. So be sure to check it out!
I started with a piece of speckled cardstock in light cream. I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Sweet Rose stamp set by Mudra Craft Stamps. I used Altenew inks in shades of brown and grey. Here is a closer look at the stamping.
Once my stamping was complete, I lightly drew lines with a scale and pencil. I colored between the lines using a light grey Artist Marker by Altenew and outlined each with a darker grey. Once the coloring was done, I trimmed the panel and adhered it to a dark brown card base. The sentiment is from the Fresh Freesia stamp set by Altenew. I heat embossed it with copper embossing powder.
Here is another look at the card.
I hope you liked my card and are inspired to create something beautiful! Please do check out the Rainbow Card Challenge blog for more inspiration. And don’t forget to link your cards to our gallery. I look forward to seeing your beautiful creations.
