Addicted To Stamps And More #412 - Christmas...

Hi! I am back with another great challenge at the Addicted To Stamps And More blog. The theme this time is:

I decided to do some vintage style loose water-coloring this time. I am trying to master this technique and practicing a lot. Though I still have very far to go, I was quite happy with this panel.

I stamped the poinsettia image from the Jingle Bells stamp set by Mudra and colored it with distress inks. The sentiment is from the Christmas Greetings stamp set, also by Mudra Craft Stamps.

I stamped the sentiment and then die-cut the circle. I inked the edges for some definition and popped it up on foam tape. To finish I added the jute twine.

Addicted To Stamps And More #411 - Make Your Mark...

Hi! I am back with another great challenge at the Addicted To Stamps And More blog. The theme this time is:

I have been on a cleaning and organizing spree recently. I came across some images I had stamped and colored months ago. I had used the Beautiful Day stamp set by Altenew and cut them using the coordinating dies.

I took a strip of brown cardstock and cut it on both sides with the Altenew Creative Edges die. I added the lace strip to the card and then stacked the flowers over it. The leaves were cut using the dies from the Virginia Rose 3D die set.

The sentiment is from the Altenew Fresh Freesia stamp set.

Happy Little Stampers Stencil Challenge - August 2021...

Hi! I am here with the inspiration for the August challenge of the Happy Little Stampers Stencil challenge.

I had fun creating this card using the Playful Patterns stencil set by ALtenew. This is a brand new layering set that has four stencils. The stencils can be combined or used individually for some great backgrounds.

I used some pink WOW! embossing powder for the sentiment.

Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes With Dies Challenge - August 2021...

Hi! I am here today with the inspiration for the month of August for the Happy Little Stampers Challenge. 

I have been on a cleaning and organizing spree for the past few days. My inspiration today features a beautiful flower I made using the Altenew Fantasy Florals die-set and some inked paper. I combined it with the Kaleidoscope Plaid layering dies by Spellbinders.

Rainbow Card Challenge #32– Temptingly Teal…

Hi! Welcome to another month at the Rainbow Card Challenges. We have a beautiful mood board for you.

I pulled out my watercolors for this one.

I started with a piece of watercolor paper and did some ink smooshing with my watercolors. The secret to getting a good smooshed background is drying the colors between layers. 

Once I was happy with my background, I allowed the paper to dry completely and then ran it through the Monstera Leaves 3D embossing folder by Altenew. I had covered one side of the embossing folder with Versamark ink. I heat embossed that side with metallic gold embossing powder.

The sentiment is from the Seasonal Blooms stamp and dies set by Altenew. This is part of the new Craft Your Life kit. I used scraps of paper from the watercolor panel to assemble it.
